This 12 day trip to the foothills of the Miravalles Volcano explores how a service trip to Costa Rica can ignite your students' interest in  learning about renewable energy.  Highlights of the trip include

Sea Turtle and Rainforest Conservation in Costa Rica!

This 10 day trip starts in the city of San José, Costa Rica where we will visit Poás Volcano and the Nicaraguan immigrant community of La Carpio.  From there we will set out to the Caribbean coast to observe a sea turtle conservation project and speak to experts about the challenges facing the world's oceans.  Then it is off to the Bribri indigenous community of Yorkín in the rainforest of Costa Rica's border region with Panamá.  We will finish with a day at the beach
