The fee for a Central American Service Expedition is $1295. The fee includes all food, lodging, transportation, materials, equipment, 24/7 guidance, recreational activities, and a donation to the communities we work with. The fee does not include international airfare, health insurance, airport taxes, nor personal expenses.

For groups of 5 or more a specialty expedition can be designed for any time of the year. Also, any teacher or parent accompanying a group of six or more students or family members pays nothing for the expedition and flies for free! (some restrictions apply) To reserve your expedition CASE requires a deposit of $200.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
The deposit goes toward the price of the expedition and the full price of the expedition must be received 12 weeks in advance of its start. A full refund is given up to six weeks before the start date. 50% is refunded between six weeks and the start date, and no refund is given after the start date.
CASE is committed to promoting sustainable development in Costa Rica by bringing expeditions to rural lodges which are off the beaten path. These lodges are run by local Costa Ricans and are often part of a larger rural development project supported by the United Nations Development Program and other international development and/or environmental organizations. 10% of the total revenue from each expedition is donated in support of local community organizations. Thus, a Central American Service Expedition is not only a rewarding experience for your child but it is also a part of the development strategy of the communities with which we work.
